With Legal Issues and Home Detention Firmly Behind Him Ex-AC/DC Drummer Aims to Get His Music Career Back on Track

Finally fans can rejoice after Phil Rudd has set a re-release date for the highly-regarded solo album Heads Up
for September 2016. This news has come in the wake of Rudd’s several road-blocks that prevented the rocker to fully promote his album, which included death threats, death threats to witnesses, and drug possession.

Ex-AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd attempted to go solo after being kicked out of the band because of his aggressive and illegal antics. While charges were ultimately dropped, AC/DC decided to go on without him, and the drummer was let go. However, Rudd didn’t let this set back keep him from creating music and recorded Heads Up, but plans were ultimately put on hold after several run-ins with the law.

In 2014, the performing artist spent eight months on home detention due to his convictions. Shortly after, the ex AC/DC drummer was arrested again for alcohol related charges. Thankfully, Rudd has turned a new leaf and fans are looking forward to what this rock legend is capable of.Now that everything is cleared up and his past is behind him, there’s nothing stopping him from finally putting forth his full effort into a successful solo career.

He states, “hell raising days are over…I see a psychiatrist once a week and i’m closer than ever to my children. I still have all my flash cars but now I want to grow chillies.”

Lucky for fans because they have been patiently awaiting the performances and tours that come with the release of a great album. Phil will be traveling to the UK and Europe at the end of September in order to promote the re-release of Heads Up, and fans can get the chance to hear Rudd talk behind the scenes as he will be available for press, radio and TV interviews.
