According to reports from the BBC, the gunman of the recent shooting on Saturday at the Tea Party Festival in the U.K. still remains at large. The perpetrator allegedly opened fire inside the festival’s VIP tent after an altercation on the dance floor and authorities are still uncertain of his identity.
The one victim from the shooting is a 27-year-old man and fortunately he remains in stable condition. The shooting took place around 8:30 p.m. and police are opting for any footage from the VIP tent around the time of the disturbance. Festival goers are encouraged to turn any information over to the police department. Investigating officer Tom Parker from the Maidenhead Force Criminal Investigation Department issued the following statement:
“Any information you have, no matter how insignificant you believe it may be, could be important to the investigation so please come forward if you have any details.”
This isn’t the first music festival to come under fire. Last month there was an explosion at the front entrance of the Ansbach Festival and luckily nobody was harmed as a cost of the event.
