Frances Bean Cobain made what many are calling her singing debut on Instagram. Donning a Fred Flinstone tee, the 23 year old posted a brief clip of herself singing Jimmy Eat World’s “The Middle” while playing the acoustic guitar. Check out the clip below.
Proud mother Courtney Love reposted the video and responded: “I know your father is very proud of this as am I baby,” referring to husband and late Nirvana legend Kurt Cobain. “I love you to the moon and back.”
Many are calling the clip Frances Bean’s debut, however, the budding singer has previously flaunted her gorgeous vocals for the world. In 2010, young Cobain collaborated with modern cabaret group Evelyn Evelyn, fronted by Amanda Palmer and Jason Webley. She is featured on their song “My Space,” with the likes of Weird Al, Margaret Cho, and Andrew W.K.
Whether or not we have seen a true debut from Frances Bean is debatable. What is more certain is that the best is yet to come from this singer with talent in her DNA.
