Lane 8 @ 1306 11/11

Lane 8 is coming to 1306 in Downtown on Friday, November 11th. He’s been making great deep house tracks for a few years now and he just released his first album last year. This music is chill, but it can also make you want to dance all night long.

Lane 8 is a DJ and Producer from California. The first time I heard him was on one of Anjunadeep’s compilations. His song “Without You” was entrancing and one of the reasons I fell in love with deep house. It has the chillest vibe and sounds, especially the piano that plays throughout, but the beat keeps you moving and alive. All of his songs are like this. They keep the style of house music at their core, but they have additions and quirks that make them unique. His music is perfect for a long mix at the club and I’m sure he will put together a great mix of tracks that fit his vibe. Another one of my favorite tracks from him is “Every Night”. Take a listen below.

He will be DJing at 1306 from 11 to 5 in the morning so get ready to dance until you can’t anymore. Another thing to note is that Lane 8 has stated that this event is going to be a phone and photo free space, to focus only on the people and music in the room at the time. He is calling his tour This Never Happened because without snapchats or instagram photos in 2016, the event might as well never have happened. Get ready for some chill music from a great artist. If you love house this is for you.
