The underground hip hop artist from Minneapolis, P.O.S, just released a new track. “Wearing A Bear” is the third single released this year, following his latest release “Waves“.
The super upbeat new track, is out now on Doomtree Records.”Wearing A Bear” firmly cements the mighty return of P.O.S. The lyrical bomb-thrower produces genre-blurring, declamatory music that builds on the music Doomtree makes.
Laced with versatile lyrics this head-nodder came at the right time. It address issues currently going on in society, but has a laid-back feel to it. It’s upbeat enough to blast with the windows down while breezing through traffic. It ‘s also cool enough to play at the house with some friends over. He proves he has a wide musical range. This is just a taste of what is to come from his much anticipated upcoming full-length.
P.O.S isn’t the only Doomtree member on the scene right now. Producer, DJ, and founder of Doomtree Record Hip-Hop Collective, Paper Tiger, surprise released the second piece in his four-part In Other Words EP series earlier this month. And just last month Sims released his first solo release, “Triple 6’s”, since 2013 single “This is the Place”, and the first Doomtree production since their 2015 collective LP All Hands.
“Wearing A Bear” is produced by fellow label-mate LAZERBEAK. It feels good to have them back in action.
