Coming to an abandoned factory in Brooklyn this September 9th and 10th, I Feel Love, will be reinventing 1970’s disco in a modern fashion.
If you’re looking for an opportunity to take a step back into the 70’s disco era in 2016, this could probably be the event you’ve been dreaming of. Named after Donna Summer’s hit single, I Feel Love, this one of a kind two-night event is headlined by Giorgio Moroder, one of the pioneers of disco and the producer of Summer’s 1977 classic. Moroder’s legacy began with Casablanca Records in the 1970’s, and he recently announced his re-signing with the iconic label. He also broke his 23-year hiatus with his latest record, Déjà Vu, last year.
Also performing both nights will be DJ Nicky Siano, who was made famous in the 70’s in New York’s famous night club, Studio 54. But that’s not all. On the first night of the event, you’ll be able to catch performances by other famous electronic artists including Oliver, Kungs, and Jackmaster. In addition to Moroder’ and Siano, Boston’s famous DJ, Armand van Helden, will also be taking the stage to perform.
