How many two-person rock bands do you know of? Maybe you’ll list off the White Stripes or the Black Keys, but the odds are that there won’t be many that come to mind. Now enter The Pack A.D. – two extremely talented women that are forces to be reckoned with.
With a sound that resembles a mix of garage rock, punk, and blues, this two-piece puts more energy into their live shows than most bands with twice the members as them. Becky Black maintains a soulful disposition while also riffing out catchy tunes while Maya Miller hits the drums harder and better than most guys in the game.
Since they were nice enough to come all the way from Canada, you should ramble on down to Schubas to see their incredible live show. Tickets are $12 and the show is 21+. You won’t regret making the trip to see these ladies rock the entire tavern.
