On September 16, Touché Amoré will release their upcoming album Stage Four (via Epitaph). The group is giving fans a preview with single and video “Palm Dreams.” Check out the video below
Directed by Tyler Davis, the video pays tribute to David Lynch film Mullhound Drive and reflects on the loss of vocalist Jeremy Bloom’s mother, who suffered from cancer until it took her life in 2014. The album title brings a double meaning that hints the notion that this theme will be reoccurring throughout the record.
Touché Amoré formed in 2007 and has since released 11 EP’s and 3 studio albums – 2009’s …To the Beat of a Dead Horse, 2011’s Parting the Sea Between Brightness and Me, and 2013’s Is Survived By. The band’s sound has been described as “jangly” and “emotionally raw” by critics and fan and has been compared to Defeater, Jawbox, and Converge.
