Father John Misty has just officially released his single “Real Love Baby”. The artist released the track earlier this May on Soundcloud as a surprise to fans, but has just now made it available on all platforms. The song features Thomas Brenneck of the Budos Band on guitar. “Real Love Baby” is now available on all digital music platforms and streaming services. Listen to the full track below.

In addition to the single release, Father John Misty is also making news for his “meltdown” on stage at the XPoNential Festival in Camden, NJ this weekend. He ended his set halfway through the allotted time after ranting to the audience about the harm of entertainment on society. During the roast he stated

“I always thought that it was going to look way more sophisticated than this when evil happened. When the collective consciousness was so numb and so fucking sated and so gorged on entertainment. … How entertaining should this be right now with a fucking battleship in the background and this shit on TV, how fucking fun should this be? How fucking fun can it be? Can it be real in any sense?”
