Alessia Cara will be performing along with Ruth B and Nathan Sykes at the Fillmore Miami Beach on Friday, October 28th. She has become very popular since the release of her hit single “Here” and her subsequent album “Know-It-All”. She’s a great singer who I think a lot of kids today connect with.
Alessia Cara is a Canadian singer-songwriter from Brampton. She created a YouTube channel when she was 13 where she sung acoustic covers. Her song “Here” blew up and has become an anthem for people who don’t really like parties all that much. Some people call her just an overnight sensation, but she has real talent and good ideas. She will be joined by Ruth B a fellow Canadian singer who released an EP last year. Also joining her will be Nathan Sykes who was the youngest member of the British boy band The Wanted. He is now working on a solo album and has released a few singles, the most popular of which being “Kiss Me Quick”. Take a listen to that song, as well as “Here” below.
These artists are all among the new generation of mainstream popular pop singers. I think their songs are all catchy and fun, each with a completely different vibe behind the music. If you’re a fan of any of these artists, or just good pop music in general, this concert should be for you.
