Producer, DJ, and founder of Doomtree Record Hip-Hop Collective, Paper Tiger, surprise released the second piece in his four-part In Other Words EP series.
The EP is produced by Paper Tiger himself and features additional vocals by Dessa, Aby Wolf, and Jessie Daley.
He explained via Soundcloud, that each release will have its own feel based on a set series of albums that have had a super influential effect on him.
Paper Tiger “Stay Season” is by far the most brilliant track on the EP. It really redefines what a talented artist is capable of when working in this genre. Just like his efforts with Doomtree, the EP is a gender-blender. You can find hints of hip-hop, pop and jazz, all with an indie feel.
The rest of the EP follows a similar vibe. The second installation really compliments In Other Words: Part One, which was released earlier this year. It feels as if you were listening to one really long song, which surprisingly feels OK. The 12 minute EP takes your mind on a relaxing journey with trance-like jungle beats flow from one song to the next.
