Danny Brown Announces New Album Atrocity Exhibition and Fall 2016 Tour Dates

Danny Brown has just announced the title of his upcoming album, Atrocity Exhibition.  The album title comes from Joy Division’s 1980 track “Atrocity Exhibition”. Brown is joined by several artists on the album including a collaboration between Kendrick Lamar and Earl Sweatshirt, Ab-Soul, Kelela, and Cypress Hill’s B-Real.

Brown has also announced that he will be embarking on a North American tour starting in September.  He has a show scheduled for July 25th in New York, but won’t be performing again until September 2nd in Denver.  The tour, titled “The Exhibition 2016” will come to a close on November 5th in Cleveland.

The album will be Brown’s first full length since 2013’s Old.  Brown told Rolling Stone that he wanted to take his time with this record, stating “With me, [I’m] somebody that’s able to sit down and be able to take my time, ’cause aint nobody gonna be out here sounding like me, ain’t nobody gonna be out here doing what I do.” Even though he hasn’t released any of his own music recently, he did record few songs with The Avalanches earlier this year.

Brown will be joined on tour by fellow Bruiser Brigade member ZelooperZ as well as Houston rapper Maxo Kream.
