Punk rock bands Bleached and Beach Slang are hitting the road on a US tour this Fall for what is being dubbed as the Bleached Slang Tour. The jaunt will begin October 11 in Washington DC and continue through October and early November. The trip will likely continue on as Bleached announced on their website a promise to continue adding more dates to their tour.
The news follows the announcement of support bands added to the upcoming Austrailian leg of the tour
Beach Slang has just announced their next album A Loud Bash Of Teenage Feelings for a September 2016 release. Lead vocalist James Alex has described the album as a set of autobiographical stories of “kids turned on to Beach Slang by the first album.” The band dropped the first single, “Punks In A Disco Bar” last week.
Bleached released their latest record Welcome the Worms in April. The punk rock group earned praise for leadoff single “Sour Candy” and was held in high regards for their performance at SXSW. mxdwn.com has since sat down with the band to discuss the performance, their album, and their approach to music.
