LISTEN: Zeds Dead Releases New Song “Blame” Featuring Diplo and Elliphant

Earlier this month, Canadian DJ duo announced that they were set to release a new album. The new album entitled Northern Lights, is jam packed with stellar collaborations including Rivers Cuomo of Weezer, Diplo, Pusha T, Elliphant, Twin Shadow, Style P and Jadakiss.

Though the album won’t be released until September, Zeds Dead have already premiered a new song from the album.

The song, “Blame,” features the famous American DJ, Diplo, and Swedish singer Elliphant. This wasn’t the first time Diplo and Elliphant have worked together, and Elliphant has worked with other big names such as rapper Azealia Banks.

The song is just a little over three and a half minutes long, and features some incredible instrumentation and production.

Though this song is an electronic dance song, it is not as high paced as many of its counterparts. Rather, it’s way more chill, but that does not take away from its energy.

Take a listen to the new song, “Blame,” below.

Zeds Dead was formed in 2009 in Toronto, Canada. The duo consists of Dylan Mamid who goes by the stage name “DC,” and Zachary Rapp-Rovan who goes by the stage name “Hooks.” They started out making remixes and mix tapes and since then have gained international popularity in the EDM scene.
