Philadelphia based punk indie rock band, Beach Slang, have just announced that they are set to release a new album.
The new album entitled A Loud Bash of Teenage Feelings, is set to drop this fall on September 23 via Polyvinyl. The new album is aptly titled, as it follows its predecessor’s long album title, The Things We Do To Find People Who Feel Like Us.
Lead vocalist James Alex, said of the new album, “A lot of the songs [on Loud Bash] are the stories of the kids who got turned on to Beach Slang by the first album. They’re autobiographical, too, but kind of at a remove—I’m not that young kid anymore, but I used to be.”
This will be the band’s second studio album, and features a total of ten songs.
In addition, the band has also released a new song off the record. The song is titled “Punks in a Disco Bar” and sits at just under three minutes long. It features influences from other indie punk rock artists like Joyce Manor and Sonic Youth.
