Concha Buika sometimes known as just Buika, is a Spanish artist from Mallorca in Spain. She currently lives right here in Miami. Her music is noteworthy for the broad range of influences that go into its creation. She has incorporated elements from Jazz, Flamenco, Pop, and Soul music to create a new whole. Her music is has great drums, guitars and wind instruments that pair well with her dynamic voice. Her voice conveys tons of emotion in all the songs she makes and she is a great performer. She was nominated for the Latin Grammys and Grammys in the past. Her latest album “Vivir Sin Miedo” was released last year. Buika is a performer who’s songs can be chill and relaxed when they need to be, and moving and emotional at other times. Her versatility as a singer and her artistry should shine through when she performs live at The Fillmore. She has been making some great Latin music that may have been overlooked over the years, and that’s honestly a shame because Buika has a lot going for her sound.
