Floating Points is taking some time out of his extremely busy schedule to perform at the North Beach Bandshell on Saturday, September 17th. Floating Points is known for his incredible artistry and dedication to making his music the best it can be. Get ready for some innovative tunes.
Floating Points is from Manchester, England. Originally being a musician was only his side gig as he has a PhD in Neuroscience. He recently started focusing entirely on his music career though, releasing his first full length album, “Elaenia”, last year to to great reviews. His music is very complex and intricate with sounds that originate from many different places and genres of music. This gives his music a very unique vibe, especially in the greater realm of electronic music. He has even performed live in the past with a 16 member ensemble. The North Beach Bandshell is a dope little venue right on the Beach. You can take in the breeze and trees while you listen to some great music from Floating Points if you decide to go.
