Binns, who is also a member of the duo Zero 7, met Bruce while working on her 2013 album Before I sleep.  Bruce was a finalist on the show The Voice UK.  She was also previously signed to Mercury Records.  The two started working on music for Equador in 2015 in the Zero 7  studio.

Musicians hiatus and Joni Milliner also contributed their writing expertise to many tracks on the album.

The full album will be released in September via Pegdoll Records, but fans who can’t wait until September to hear the whole thing have “Blood/ Bones of Man” to hold them over.
