Sound On Sound Announces 2016 Lineup Featuring Run The Jewels, Phantogram And Courtney Barnett

Texas-based independent music festival Sound on Sound has announced their 2016 lineup, and it features some very heavy hitters including Death Grips, Mac Demarco, the Descendents, and Run the Jewels. Run the Jewels has allegedly been busy with Run the Jewels 3, if Killer Mike is to be believed. The full lineup can be viewed below:

Sound On Sound fest is a brand new festival based in central Texas that is described by its creators as “managed, designed, and curated by a close knit circle of friends from various corners of the independent music and creative world, with over 20 years of booking, production, and festival experience.” SOS aims to differentiate itself from other more mainstream music festivals by highlighting what they call “a fan focused approach to the festival experience”. An example of this is that the festival will be providing a full shuttle and transportation to festival goers so that they have a safe, streamlined method of accessing the festival.

The festival will be held November 4-6 at the Sherwood Forest Faire, located just 30 minutes from downtown Austin.
