M83 are currently in the midst of their summer tour following the release of their latest album Junk.  The most recent stop on their tour was at the Firefly Music Festival in Delaware and they will continue this Friday in Paris.  The band will be in the UK and Europe for while but have announced more dates, including two stops in New York, that extend into the fall.  The album, which was released in April, was frontman Anthony Gonzalez’s attempt to take a risk and be truer to the music he wanted to create, as opposed to listening to outside opinions.

Shura is set to open in Atlanta, Knoxville, Philadelphia, New York (both shows), Milwaukee, Chicago, and Minneapolis, while Yeasayer will open the Seattle, San Francisco, and Los Angeles shows.  Openers at other stops include onDeadWaves, Sofi Tukker, Chairlift, and Tennyson.
