The annual Pygmalion music festival has just announced their lineup for their 2016 event. This year’s lineup includes some incredible performers including headliners Future Islands, Vince Staples and Wolf Parade.
The festival will be held in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois. The entire festival runs from September 16th through the 24th, however the music portion will only run between the 22nd and 24th.
Tickets for the festival are already up for purchase and range in price depending on the days. Single day passes start at $20 for Thursday, September 22nd, and $25 for the Friday and Saturday shows. The full weekend festival pass, which gives access to the entire festival including its events outside the music festival, sells for $79. This is Pygmalion Festivals’s 12th annual event, and it’s sure to be a really great time. The festival is split up into different sections including a music, literary, tech, made and food festival. So far the Music and Lit festival lineups have been announced, and the other lineups will follow soon.
The music lineup, however, looks very promising. With a wide array of acts featured on the lineup, there is definitely something for everyone. A few of the scheduled performers include Future Islands, Vince Staples, Frightened Rabbit, Wolf Parade, Russian Circles, and Car Seat Headrest.
