LIGHTS ALL NIGHT announced the lineup for the 2016 festival today, June 8.
The electronic music fest is held in Texas, and according to the press release, LIGHTS ALL NIGHT is the largest New Year’s Eve party in Texas. The party starts December 30th and rolls into December 31st, and this year they have expanded to EL Paso.
This is the seventh year in a row that this festival is taking place in Dallas. It will, however, be the first year the festival will be taking place in El Paso. deadmau5, Zedd, and A$AP Ferg will be playing at Dallas Market Hall on the 30th. On the 31st, deadmau5 and RL Grime will be playing at El Paso Convention Center.
“We are excited to host some of the hottest electronic acts in music, in two locations over NYE weekend. Expanding the brand to El Paso has been a goal for us-it’s a huge hub of music, culture and arts, we’ve had our eye on it for a while now. Our mission is to provide a spectacular New Year’s Eve experience for the patrons. We are excited to give our west Texas and central America fans their own piece of Lights All Night to experience. We anticipate this being the first of other new markets for Lights All Night in 2017 and beyond,” says organizers Scott Osburn and Hank Keller of Dallas-based Highland Concerts.
Tickets go on sale Friday June 10 at 11 am CT. Tickets can be bought using the LIGHTS ALL NIGHT website.
UPDATE (9/30): Additional acts have been announced for the El Paso night of LIGHTS ALL NIGHT as well as some acts that will perform both nights. Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs (DJ Set) and
Felix Cartel will be performing at both the Dallas and El Paso nights of the festival. Meanwhile, Excision, No Mana and Bijou will perform at the El Paso night.
