Maria Martha Serra Lima is coming to sing at the James L Knight Center with Los Panchos on Saturday, September 10th. Get ready to hear the classic Latin ballad sound with this band. Maria and Los Panchos are going to bring relaxing and beautiful music with them.
Los Panchos was originally a Latin trio romantico formed in the 1940s. They were famous for their ballads and boleros, and although the real founding members are not the ones performing in this band, they carry the spirit and style of the original with them. Maria Martha Serra Lima is a renowned singer from Argentina who has worked with a numerous amount of people during her career. She has been making records since the 70’s and made hits that resonated across Latin America and Spain in her time. Some good songs from her and Los Panchos include “Los Enamorados” and “Voy a perder la cabeza por tu amor”.
The James L Knight Center is entertainment complex where all kinds of events including Miss Universe have been held in the past.
