On May 12 at The Novo in Downtown Los Angeles, Aesop Rock dropped rhymes from his new album The Impossible Kid, while ruminating wistfully on the 40th birthday he had celebrated recently on tour. The Impossible Kid is his first solo record in four years. Surrounded by taxidermied wildlife and accompanied by Rob Sonic, Aesop Rock showed no signs of slowing down as he continues his tour throughout the US this summer.
