Bad Boy Family Reunion @ American Airlines Arena 9/10

Bad Boy records is set to have a family reunion on Saturday, September 10th at the American Airlines Arena. Puff Daddy, Faith Evans, Lil Kim, Mase, 112, Total, Carl Thomas, The Lox and French Montana are going to be performing. With the exception of French Montana, all of the artists are from the 90s era of hip hop and R&B. If only Biggie was still here to make it to this family reunion.

Founded by “Puff Daddy” Sean Combs in 1993, Bad Boy Records was well known for their biggest artist The Notorious B.I.G., and their heated feud with the west coast based Death Row Records. Although Biggie and the feud have been left in the past the rest of the artists at Bad Boy continued to make music and here they are now reuniting for what should be a great show. The great rap talent of Diddy himself, Lil Kim, Mase, and the members of The Lox, should mesh well with all the R&B talent that Diddy was able to accumulate on his record label. Some of the most popular songs by these artist include “Never Gonna Let You Go” by Faith Evans, “Crush on You” by Lil Kim.

The American Airlines Arena is huge, but that size will be required for the amount of hype that this concert is going to generate with all the 90s nostalgia it will resurface. With plenty of seats and ticket prices for a variety of budgets this should be a great show to make it to this fall in Miami. No where else will you get to see some of the best of 90s east coast hip hop and R&B in the same place.

My two favorite music genres are definitely hip hop and electronic/dance, but I'm really open to anything that piques my interest. I'm currently in New York for school. Electronic album reviewer for MXDWN. Although I write about music for the website, my media interests stretch into many areas including movies and video games.
