Pitbull @ BB&T Center 7/31

Pitbull is coming to the BB&T Center on Saturday July 31st with the singer Prince Royce and special guest Farruko. Mr. 305 the Latin pop rapper extraoidinare has been making radio hits and party favorites for years and is launching a massive North American tour. With the addition of Prince Royce and Farruko, both stars in the Latin music world, the concert is set to be a treat for anyone looking to have a good time in Miami.

Pitbull has been active since 2001, releasing his debut album M.I.A.M.I. in 2004. He started out his career working with the likes of Lil Jon, but has since crossed over into pop territory as his career has gone on. That is not to say that his love for Miami and his roots in rap have diminished. He has skills and he puts out hits for everyone, that’s why he’s also called Mr. Worldwide. You can get a taste of his worldwide appeal in the music video for his newest song “Freedom”.

The BB&T Center is a huge arena in Sunrise Florida that is also the home of the Florida Panthers. There are a ton of seats and a huge stage in the middle where the performers will be. Prices for different seats vary so I’ve linked the website where you can find tickets and choose your seat.

Henry Ehlebracht: I am an NYU student from Miami who loves writing. I am a dual major in Philosophy and Journalism and I'd love to share my thoughts on music with you. My two favorite music genres are definitely hip hop and electronic/dance, but I'm really open to anything that piques my interest. I'm currently in New York for school. Electronic album reviewer for MXDWN. Although I write about music for the website, my media interests stretch into many areas including movies and video games.
