In anticipation for their forthcoming album, the Irvine, California-based rock band Thrice, has released a new video for their single “Black Honey.”
In March, Thrice announced the release of their new album, To Be Everywhere Is To Be Nowhere, their ninth studio album and their first in five years. The album is set to drop May 27th via Vagrant Records and so far they have released a few singles including “Blood on the Sand” and the aforementioned “Black Honey.”
The music video for “Black Honey” features wide angle shots of a vast and open road with a slew of plants hugging either side of the road. The video focuses on a young boy in the passenger seat of a car as he goes through different dispositions. The driver of the car changes from Thrice frontman Dustin Kensrue to the supposed mother, father, and relatives of the young boy in the passenger’s seat.
As the video continues, each member of the video mouths along to the lyrics of the song and magical elements run rampant throughout.

Thrice was formed in Irvine, California in 1998. Its members include frontman Dustin Kensrue, Teppei Teranishi and brothers Eddie and Riley Breckenridge. Their debut album was released in 2000 and since then they have continued to release greatly loved albums.
Their forthcoming album, To Be Everywhere Is To Be Nowhere, is to be released later this month on May 27th via Vagrant Records. In addition, the band is set to begin a tour this summer in support of their new album.
