WATCH: Kesha Covers “Til It Happens To You” By Lady Gaga

After surfacing from a precarious legal battle, that involved an appeal, and had the support of Lady Gaga, Kesha is back on stage, and this time she’s covering Lady Gaga’s “Til It Happens To You.” The song was originally co-written by Gaga with Diane Warren for the documentary, The Hunting Ground, an expose on victims of sexual abuse on college campuses.

On a dimly lit stage behind a screen displaying various emotional images, and despite the low-quality audio, her performance resonates. Kesha opens by dedicating this song to, “To every man, woman, child and animal that has ever been abused.”
