WATCH: Aesop Rock Releases Video For “Dorks”

Aesop Rock has just released a new video for their song “Dorks” from their album The Impossible Kid. The video was directed by Rob Shaw and produced by Bent Image Lab. The video involves a kidnapping and a captivating mask created with face paint.

Though the meanings behind many of the scenes in the video and the lyrics don’t seem to come together and make complete sense, it is clear that the video is rather dark and all together stimulating. The lyrics at some points make fun of “Cool Kids” and the video has a lot of witchcraft and snakes.

Recently the band streamed the video via a shot for shot remake of The Shining, only with tiny dolls and using their lyrics, said Pitchfork.

In June, Aesop Rock plans to go on tour with Rob Sonic (Music video star) and Homeboy Sandman.
