Bay Area thrash metal band, Death Angel, have just released the music video for their song “Hatred United/United Hate” from their forthcoming album The Evil Divide.
The video showcases tattoo artist, Bob Tyrrell, as he sketches the image of a skull and moth merged together, which became the cover art for the band’s album The Evil Divide. In addition, the video features the band playing during their recording sessions. The music video was directed by Tommy Jones of Videohammer Studios.
Death Angel was formed in Daly City, California in 1982. The band was initially active from 1982 until 1991, but reunited in 2001. Through the years, the band has had several changes in band members, with the only original member being Rob Cavestany.
The band has released seven studio albums thus far, and several more EPs and live albums. Death Angel are known for being one of the seminal bands of the Bay Area’s thrash metal scene.
