The Church, who have not even wrapped up their spring tour, have just announced a month of tour dates this summer with fellow 80’s alternative rockers The Psychedelic Furs, according to Brooklyn Vegan.
Of the collaboration, Church frontman Steve Kilby said “Sometimes rock ‘n’ roll has really good double bills where there are two likeminded acts and the audience can go away very happy they got their moneys worth…Because the last lot of shows went so well we couldn’t help but want to keep it going.”
The tour will run throughout the midwest and west coast, with no east coast dates currently planned. Perhaps this is foreshadowing for a totally separate east coast tour, so we will have to stay tuned for that.
The Church have not released music since 2014’s Further/Deeper, which was their whopping 25th studio album.
