According to Resident Music, Beak> has returned with a new release – this time the triumvirate is providing us with Couple In A Hole (Original Soundtrack). The soundtrack was penned by Geoff Barrow, Billy Fuller & Matt Williams to complement the film Couple in A Hole. The movie is a psychological drama and directed by Tom Geens. It was his directorial debut.
Geoff Barrow has previously worked in film, contributing scores to a handful of movies (Ex-Machina, Exit Through the Giftshop, etc). Beak> brings old, familiar material to this soundtrack, with a sprinkling of new material. The recently released single “Timeshare” will be featured on the album.

Based in the UK, Beak> consists of Geoff Barrow (Portishead) and Billy Fuller (Robert Plant). Matt Williams (MXLX, Fairhorns) has contributed to the group’s work until his recent departure in February 2016.
Beak> released their self-titled debut album back in 2009. The music came together rather quickly – the group’s songs were written within 12 days in Bristol and the music was recorded in one room only using edits (no overdubs or repair) to form their arrangements.
The upcoming album is now available for pre-order and is expected to be released May 27. Check out album artwork above and full tracklisting below.
