Rotten Sound @ The Acheron

Heads up, NYC metalheads – Veteran grindcore band, Rotten Sound, are headed out on tour and will be playing at The Acheron in Brooklyn this May 25th.

The Finnish four-piece are currently on tour in Europe in support of their newest record, Abuse To Suffer, that came out earlier this year. They’ll be making their first trip to the States to perform in Brooklyn before they head out to Maryland Deathfest in Baltimore two days later. Check out their song, Brainwashed, that appeared on the new album.

Since their formation in 1993, the Finnish metal band has taken the Scandinavian metal scene by storm. The region is commonly known for their melodic exports of metal – In Flames, At The Gates and Soilwork. Rotten Sound has been the exception to that rule and the band has become one of the most influential bands to hit the grindcore scene. For over two decades, they have consistently released some of metal’s most flesh-ripping tunes. Check out their song, Burden, that appeared on their 2005 album, Exit.

Also performing in May 25th will be Deathcycle, White Widows Pact, Carcosa and Grudges. Tickets for Rotten Sound at The Acheron are on sale now for $15 on Ticketfly.
