United Nations, the screamo/post-hardcore supergroup recently announced that they will be supporting post-hardcore band RLYR at Saint Vitus in Brooklyn on June 22nd.
United Nations announced that they will be performing at two shows in New York City and Boston in support of the emerging post-hardcore instrumental band, RLYR, during their upcoming tour. Only about a year old, RLYR will be on tour in support of their upcoming debut album, Delayer. The record comes out on June 17th – just a few days before they hit New York City. They’re currently streaming their track, Slipstream Summer, on their Bandcamp or you can check it out below.
United Nation’s announced their appearance during RLYR’s upcoming tour the same way they handle most of their business – suddenly and unpredictably. The band, which is lead by Geoff Rickly of Thursday, has gone through numerous line-up changes over the years and has featured members from bands like Converge, Pianos Become The Teeth, The Number Twelve Looks Like You and Glassjaw. In 2014 they came out with their second full-length album, The Next Four Years. Check out their song, Serious Business.
