Kanye West Joins A$AP Rocky At Coachella 2016 For “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1.”

It’s no surprise to learn that a megastar made a special guest appearance at Coachella 2016. According to L.A. Times, on the first day of the festival, Kanye West made a very special appearance on stage with A$AP Rocky for a performance of “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1.”  However, what could have been an early highlight of the two-weekend festival in Indio, CA turned out to be a relative disappointment.

The special appearance was met with a monstrous wave of applause, though it was difficult to hear Kanye as his mic cut out. After the performance, A$AP and Kanye adamantly advocated for a second song, only to have the sound cut off. This is likely owed to the fact that A$AP took the stage over ten minutes late, which he blamed on the delays seen elsewhere due to high winds. As the rappers left the stage, the audience explicitly chanted in disapproval.
