Notorious B.I.G. Hologram Is Going To Happen According To Faith Evans

The hologram craze returns. According to Faith Evans, The Notorious B.I.G.’s will make making his rounds again in projected form.

According to Consequence of Sound, Faith Evans is “in the finishing stages” of completing The King & I, a collaborative album with her late husband. The record has been compared to Natalie Cole and Nat King Cole’s posthumous recordings.

Evans states on Dame Dash’s radio show that the couple was meant to perform together. “Today, if he was alive, I know, ultimately, we would’ve done something like this, but the way the stuff has come together, and the way I’m using his vocals, it’s giving the stuff new life, it’s totally different.”

Evans has made plans to perform live with Biggie in hologram form and will use the virtual form of her husband for the first video for the album “and maybe use it a little bit performing live. But that depends on a lot of things.”

The King & I is scheduled tentatively for a September release.

Puff Daddy has also been planning to pay respects to Biggie through tribute shows. The rapper-entrepreneur has announced a one-night-only tribute concert to The Notorious B.I.G., scheduled for May 20th at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. Named the “Bad Boy Family Reunion,” the show will feature a reunion of Puff Daddy and the Family, and will feature appearances from Evans, Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige, Mase, among many others.
