Psycho Vegas has just announced their lineup for 2016, including bands: Electric Wizard, Alice Cooper, Baroness and more. The festival will be held at the Hard Rock Hotel and take place on August 26-28. Two of the three stages will be located at the joint and one at the pool according to an Instagram post said Brooklyn Vegan.
The mostly metal festival, with a focus in doom/psychedelic metal has quite the impressive lineup for this year. The festival announced a clue for the headliner: “A………The……..” No one can seem to make sense of this since the headliner has been revealed as Alice Cooper.
Another highlight of the festival is a supposed “Psycho Pool Party” led by Mudhoney and Mac Sabbath on the 25th. Another draw is that you are able to win back the money for your ticket at the festival.
Originally called Psycho de Mayo, the festival has been held in many different locations over the years in support of metal groups and their fans. The festival began in LA, in 2013, and eventually had to change it’s name for legal reasons. Last year Psycho California took place in Santa Ana, CA and headlined bands such as Kylesa, Orange Goblin and Bedemon.
