Hope Sandoval & The Warm Inventions have announced their plans of releasing their an album to their follow-up in 2009, Through The Devil Softly. Mazzy Star vocalist Hope Sandoval and Colom Ó Cíosóig of My Bloody Valentine make up this dreamy pop duo.
A set release date has not been announced yet for the upcoming project. Although, the group will drop its first official single, “Isn’t It True” on Record Store Day (April 16th) as a 7-inch via her Sandoval’s own Tendril Tales label.
Consequence of Sound also notes that, “the track will be backed by “She’s in the Wall”, a song which features additional contributions from Jim Putnam of the Radar Bros.”
Hope Sandoval & The Warm Inventions have released two acclaimed albums since forming. Their 2001 debut Bavarian Fruit Bread was followed in 2009 by Through The Devil Softly.
Although the release date for their upcoming album has not been announced, their new single “Isn’t It True” will be released on April 16th. Check out the artwork for the single below.
