Elliphant has just released a sample track from her upcoming third album Living Life Golden titled “Everybody.”
The Swedish pop artist, Elliphant, has created an image for herself as a very genuine and honest person that will be as true to her fans as she can possibly be. With her new track titled “Everybody” she pokes fun at the music industry that she finds herself belonging to but not a part of. With lyrics that read “Everybody is the s**t, everybody is the big thing now, everybody is the boss, everybody rocking gold chains now.” The level of frustration that she has for her peers appears to be wearing thin. She then follows with a direct attack saying, “All these bitches wanna steal / All these rappers wanna sleep on me.” The track can be streamed below.
The new track is off of her new LP Living Life Golden and was released on March 25. The LP will feature contributions from such acts as Major Lazer, Skrillex, Azealia Banks and MØ. The productions of the LP was personally requested by her to be Tommy Tysper, Dr. Luke, Dave Sitek and Joel Little among others.
Elliphant’s career has very unique and seemingly impossible origin story that starts with her singing at a party in Paris, according to Music Times. During this performance she was discovered by Tim Deneve who was then the spring board for the rest of her career. She would go on to help write and produce a lot of songs with her and Ted Krotkiewski. It was then that her talents would be noticed by big acts such as Diplo, Major Lazer, Skrillex, Azealia Banks and more.
