Colours – Ivory

Florida Vibes

Can you sing with all the voices of the mountains? Can you paint with all the Colours of the wind? Not sure if this duo will be painting with all the Colours of the wind, but they’ll sure sing with all their voices. With Kyle Tamo doing vocals and Morgan Alley on the drums this perfect duo is here to rock your world.

New Florida band Colours’ album Ivory brings back memories of being in the 90s. It’s one of those albums that bring you back in time, their style and their melodic vocals are a blast to the past, comparable to that typical alternative band you’d listen to on your Hit Clips Music Player. Ivory can be that album you’d listen to after a bad breakup, or maybe even just an album your basic “fan girl” knows every song lyric to. There are many different ways you can appreciate Ivory. Colours, wanted their music to speak for itself, and as a two man band they have the opportunity to be more creative in that aspect.

You ever turn on some throwbacks on, sit back relax and enjoy, and after a while realize music today will never be like it was in the 90s? Fortunately Colours has created an album that’ll almost fulfill your 90s craving. If you’ve ever listened to NYSNC growing up as a kid you’ll understand why the song, “The Unforgettable” reminds so much of them. As for “Monster” this electro-rock song is kind of dark and edgy but deep down a little too emotional to handle. Colours is that boy band everyone kind of falls in love with because they have catchy tunes and good looking dudes, do I need to say more? If you’re craving that 90s vibe, you’re kind of on the emotional side and you like alternative boy bands this is the album for you.
