Thrice Announce New Album To Be Everywhere Is To Be Nowhere For May 2016 Release

Thrice is back and better than ever. The legendary rock quartet has announced that their ninth studio album, To Be Everywhere Is To Be Nowhere, will be released on May 27 via Vagrant Records. The group also released the first single from the album, “Blood on the Sand,” a heavy track that is loyal to Thrice’s punk rock roots while also showcasing their progression as a band.

Since the formation of Thrice over 15 years ago, the band has delivered consistently groundbreaking records, collaborations and performances, and it seems the upcoming album will be no exception. “Blood on the Sand” is a finely tuned and often intense track that will please fans old and new. “After watching a year of fear make people do terrible things, and now on the precipice of more of the same, this song is an anthem for anyone that’s had enough of it,” says lead singer Dustin Kensrue. His vocals have considerably improved through the years, and the listener can feel the emotion and pain in his voice when he belts out the powerful lyrics of “Blood on the Sand.” If this track is any indication, To Be Everywhere Is To Be Nowhere could be one of the best Thrice albums to date.

The group announced a hiatus back in 2012, and To Be Everywhere Is To Be Nowhere will be their first album since 2011’s Major/Minor. Thrice have become icons in the alternative rock scene throughout the years. They have sold over a million records, gained a loyal following and toured with bands such as Coheed and Cambria, Deftones, Rise Against and more. In addition to the new album, the group will embark on Summer tour throughout the United States, starting in Los Angeles and ending in Denver.
