Summerfest Announces 2016 Lineup Featuring The Roots, Garbage And Peter Bjorn & John

Even though Lollapalooza will be happening shortly, Summerfest is around the corner. Summerfest will take place June 29 to July 3 and July 5 to July 10 of this year. General admission tickets are sold separately from the Marcus Amphitheater shows, which those shows are found on Ticketmaster. The admission tickets can be located on the Summerfest website. To print out tickets at home you have to go to store.sumerfest.com without any service fee to print the tickets. But any purchased ticket through store.summerfest.com are not valid for admission to Marcus Amphitheater shows. The seasonal packages are not available as of yet, but you can check the website at a further date. The Summerfest event will take place ninety miles from the Windy City in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The lineup includes Hollywood Vampires, Sting with Peter Gabriel, Alabama Shakes, Weezer, Chris Stapleton, and Kacey Musgraves are some of the top headlining acts. The lineup also includes Passion Pit, Ryan Adams, Death Cab For Cutie, Garbage, The Decemberists, The Roots, Beastie Boys’ Mike D, “Weird Al” Yankovic, Ben Folds, and OMD (Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark). Other notable acts include Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Billy Idol, Cheap Trick, Barenaked Ladies, and Kool and the Gang.

So far more headliners for the Summerfest in Milwaukee have been announced slowly. This includes the newest addition of Def Leppard, REO Speedwagon, Panic! at the Disco, and Blake Shelton. Overall, there are a total of over ninety acts performing at this festival . It is a huge lineup for a huge get-together to start summer.
