If you’re looking for a way to kick off your summer, head over to Jones Beach Theater this June 18th where you can catch this year’s Taste of Chaos Tour featuring Dashboard Confessional, Taking Back Sunday and The Early November.
The Taste of Chaos Tour has always maintained a reputation of hosting some of the greatest bands in the modern rock world. Last year, Taste of Chaos announced their return after a 5-year hiatus with a single concert in San Bernardino, California. The show featured many favorites including Dashboard Confessional, The Used and Jimmy Eat World. Their 2015 return was an enormous success and resulted in the announcement of this year’s full-length co-headlining tour with Dashboard Confessional and Taking Back Sunday.
Dashboard Confessional, the alternative band from Florida, made the announcement official on their Facebook last week. But that wasn’t all. They also announced that they will be offering a VIP experience to fans called “Hands Down – The Ultimate Dashboard Confessional Experience”. This special offer includes a chance to meet the band during a private pre-show performance where fans can hear the band play in a more intimate, acoustic session. This offer is available for each show throughout the entire tour.
Taking Back Sunday also announced that they will be co-headlining the upcoming tour last week. In addition to their upcoming tour, the band has also been making hints about a possible new record in the works.
Their most recent record, Happiness Is, came out in 2014 and was also the bands first release on their newest record label, Hopeless Records. Check out their song, Beat Up Car , that appeared on the album.
Tickets for the 2016 Taste of Chaos Tour went on sale last Friday so don’t hold off! The show will also feature The Early November, Saosin and special guests Motion City Soundtrack. Pick up your tickets now before they are sold out on Livenation.
