The Kills will tour extensively to promote their fifth and upcoming album Ash & Ice. The group will also perform in Europe and play festivals such Isle of Wight, Park Live, and U-Park. Lucky for San Francisco, the concert is the day after their album release so there will be extra excitement from the band. Expect lots of new songs to be played on this epic Saturday night. Mark your calendars and set your alarms for June 3rd because the Kills are signing the first 250 vinyls bought which includes two fold-out posters and a lyric booklet.
The Kills consist of Alison Mosshart and Jamie Hince who met at a South London hotel and hit it off after sharing a passion for music. They released their first album in 2003 titled Keep On Your Mean Side. Though Mosshart is the found member of The Kills, she also formed Jack White’s The Dead Weather in 2008 and is still an active band today. Hince was in three bands before finally settling down with The Kills. These bands include Scarfo, a rock band, Blyth Power, a folk band, and Fiji, another rock band.
