LISTEN: Bleached Release New Song “Sour Candy”

Bleached has just released a new track, “Sour Candy,” off of their new album Welcome The Worms.

Due out on April 1st is Bleached’s new album, Welcome The Worms. The new album was recorded at Sunset Sound with producer and engineer Joe Chiccarelli and co-producer Carlos de la Garza. The duo has helped the band throughout their career to extend what was simply their average pop songs into “fearlessly big pop melodies,” according to a press release. The Los Angeles based punk band has released the album’s “highlight” track titled “Sour Candy.” The new track is almost guaranteed to ring in your head for days after the first listen. The track can be streamed below.

The band has also released a “making of” mini doc for Welcome The Worms as well. The video can be seen be seen for free below.

The band will embark on a North American tour this Friday, March 9, with a show in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Neon Reverb Festival. The tour will also take the band to major cities across North America, such as Austin, San Diego, Pheonix, Dallas and Atlanta. The tour has over 55 different shows on its roster with the wrap up show set in Kansas City at Children’s Mercy Park. The show will be part of the KRBZ Buzz Beach Ball 2016 and is sure to be a great send off for the tour. No Parents is set to perform with Bleached on a majority of the shows that make up the tour. Ryan Fricke: Music is my therapy, which I could not function without. I am currently finishing my senior year a Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida with a Journalism major and a Creative Writing Minor. I first realized I wanted to become a Music Journalist the minute I learned that I could get paid to do the two things I love most, writing and listening to music. I have yet to decide which I am more infatuated with but for the time being I will happily house them to their stalemate. My plans after graduation are unclear but I hope to further gain experience in this profession.
