Tumblr is tackling an important issue with their all girl line up and special guest Wendy Davis this year at South By Southwest. The theme is meant to highlight the gender disparity issues that women face today. The name of the event is a nod to the 79 cents that women make to every dollar that a man makes. Please note that Crystal Castles was previously on the bill, but removed over a dispute between former member Alice Glass and Ethan Kath. Alice Glass had made a comment that Ethan Kath would not be an appropriate artist for a feminist focused event. Make sure you come out and support by RSVPing after the jump!
