Burger Boogaloo is back at it again in Oakland this summer. This lineup is loaded!! Hosted by actor John Waters, this is the epic summer festival you can’t miss. Put on by Fullerton-based label Burger Records, 2016 is Burger Boogaloo’s fifth anniversary of the festival. Headliners include Traci Lords, a singer and actress, The Trashwomen, and The Mummies. Get ready for a garage rock/ surf rock spectacular. With all the moshing and stage diving you can imagine. Grab some friends and go have a great time at Burger Records’ Burger Boogaloo.
The Trashwomen are an all female classic surf punk band from the Bay Area. Check out their LP titled Spend the Night With the Trashwomen released in the 90s. Make sure to check out The Mummies while at Burger Boogaloo. They’re a garage punk band from San Mateo formed in 1988. Peek at their two records Never Been Caught and Party at Steve’s House.
