WATCH: Tacocat Releases New Video For “I Hate The Weekend”

Tacocat has released a music video for the single “I Hate The Weekend.” The single from their newest album, Lost Time. The band has also announced their own SXSW showcase that will be shown on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17. Tacocat has also announced tour dates to follow the release of the new album.

The music video starts at a party. Like all parties, its crazy and wild, but this one takes the cake, with people wearing giant heads and strobe lights pounding to the beat. This video’s candy-crazed house party is Tacocat’s first-ever video with a credited pyrotechnics expert. The music video like the newest album, is all about life. It’s nothing to do with people or humans with an indistinguishable niche, it is life and it is fantastic.

The SXSW showcase will include Tacocat along with Protomartyr, Shannon and the Clams, and La Luz. The showcase will be uncovering the notion of “Official Brand Awareness.” The showcase event is for adults that are 21 or older. Advance copies of Lost Time are available upon request, with limited edition color vinyl pre-orders available. Fans can order the vinyl on Hardly Art’s website.
