Frightened Rabbit’s new music video for their single “Get Out” reveals what it’s like to be addicted to love. Paraphrasing a little, but the music video has a theme about addiction, but its not drugs. It’s about being addicted to one person. The notion that love can be a drug, to push aside all other relationships and immerse yourself in another human, its unhealthy but wonderful.
The single “Get Out” is from their upcoming album, Painting of A Panic Attack which comes out in April of this year, is a gorgeous companion to the visual response of the music video. The video was directed by Greg Davenport who also directed music videos for Seafret, Lonely the Brave, and Steve Mason. It follows two girls going on an adventure together, but it captures the effects of the music and the ways in which loving someone else can become an addiction.
Frightened Rabbit has announced their tour dates for their album that will be released this year. The tour will include the support of musician Caveman. The tour will start in the month of April, following the release date of the worldwide album to be set April 8, and continue throughout the month of May.
