There is a killer show coming to New York City for all of you socially awkward emo fans out there to get pretty stoked about. Emo/indie band,The World is a Beautiful Place  & I am No Longer Afraid To Die, is coming Irving Plaza this April 22nd.

The World is a Beautiful Place  & I am No Longer Afraid To Die, or TWIABP&IANLATD for short, is a bunch of musicians that are just as unique as the name of their band. This one of a kind band from Connecticut have been making quite a name for themselves recently in the world of indie music. In 2015, the band released their second full-length record, Harmlessness. The album, which was the result of fine-tuned blend of emo, indie and post-hardcore, has received overwhelmingly positive reviews and highlighted the band’s extensive range of instrumental variety. Check them out for yourself and give a listen to Long Live Happy Birthday, their newest 7″ coming out on March 25.

Oh. It’s also important to note that TWIABP&IANLATD is living up to their name and doing their part to make the world a better place. The emerging emo band, Pinegrove, just performed at a sold out show in NYC with Modern Baseball earlier this month immediately following the release of their debut album, Cardinal. If you haven’t checked them out, you should get on it soon because they are on the list of bands to watch out for in 2016.
